Then again, what’s the need for a bulky upper body but no leg muscles to show for it?

Going to the gym has become part of everyday life, and it turns out that workout sessions can double up as a hangout with your friend. Having a workout buddy adds to the dedication of hitting the gym in terms of providing morale and the occasional friendly competition, which makes one push to the end.
Besides all that, a friend can provide a hands-on approach when things get too heavy by offering a helping hand, which is even more reason to have a gym partner! Your training sessions will never be the same again!
A Stiletto Work Out Session
Who said you couldn't work out in your favorite pair of shoes? This queen is going against the grain and putting on a show for fellow gym members by lifting some impressive weights while spotting her stilettos.
Will they hold the weight? We'll tell you about that some other day, but it is not advisable to wear such shoes when going to the gym. Injuries at the gym can most often be due to inappropriate wear, and let's hope the lady in the picture was only posing for the cameras. Remember to spot the right gear before embarking on your work out session!
Of Uneven Workouts
Now, kids, when you hit the gym, ensure that all your body gets plenty of exercise all over and don't just focus on only one aspect of building muscle. Yes, a well-chiseled chest is the dream of many people who go to the gym, but what's the use of that if your lower body is, for lack of a better word, shriveled?
It would make you look somewhat comical, like the cartoon character 'Johnny Bravo,' especially when you skip leg days. What's the trick? There is none. Just ensure you put in the work in all areas of your body!
Your Diet Goes A Long Way
It's said that you are what you eat, and that saying has never been more true than in a gym setting. After all, that's why most people work out - to shed off some pounds, right?
Certain foods are best out the door if you're in pursuit of a leaner figure, and high on the list is potatoes. Even a light gym activity like walking the treadmill will seem a Herculean task with many carbs, as this chap aptly displays. In the sackful of a costume, it makes exercising quite tricky, and if this was an actual human body physique, it just shows how unhealthy too many crabs are.
Gymnastics Are Not For Gym
Contrary to popular belief, the word gym does not stand for gymnastics. This lady, though, couldn’t have any of that, as she went ahead to display her impressive gymnastic skills in the gym.
She probably was having a stretch before an intense workout, but her bulging arms give her away as a gymnast. While we are not advocating for a ban on gymnastic activities in the gym, we are just worried about everyone’s safety. Some of these gymnastic stunts can get a little dangerous, and as such, the gym may probably not be the best place to execute them.
A Heel Workout
This is probably the same lady working out with her stilettos, and she is seemingly good at getting the weights off the ground while rocking her favorite footwear.
While we can’t help but marvel at her skills, we may need to point out the danger of working out in heels. For instance, she is one misstep away from a sprained ankle or even worse. But then, this wonder woman seems to have everything under control, and we can only cheer her on. Do you, queen, and don’t let anything come between you and glory!
Segway To The Rescue!
We all love taking shortcuts, but this lady here seems to have taken her’s too far. She had most likely put her mind to do a marathon on the treadmill, but when it became too harsh, she found the perfect solution.
We are not sure if this helped her goal of burning some calories, but she won it if it was a bet with her gym buddy. While there is no harm in having some tricks up your sleeves, such short cuts just won’t work for you in the gym. No sweat, no gain, the gym saying goes.
Superhero Workout
Now, this is downright comical! Batman has seemingly taken time off dealing with the bad guys to tone up some muscles, and we can’t help but laugh out loud.
With his superhuman strength, one can wonder if the gym will be of any use to him anyway and that he looks ripped already. Maybe his nemesis, The Joker, challenged Batman to a fight, and he is just getting ready here. We’d advise you to let him be and not interrupt his workout session lest the world gets taken over by the villains!
Who Needs Stairs When You Can Ride An Escalator?
In a somewhat ironic twist, this gym thought it wise to have an escalator leading up to its entrance. It may be counterproductive, given that we are always encouraged by health enthusiasts to take the stairs instead of the lift or escalator, but if you look at it from another angle, it begins to make sense.
Do you know about those intense workout sessions that literally drain every ounce of energy you have left? Sometimes, you may need a little help walking down the stairs, which is where the escalators come in handy.
Better Luck Next Time!
Not everyone experiences a beginner's luck; for instance, this man in the frame balances a bar over his head for the first time, and clearly, he needs more practice. Perhaps, he needs to start with lighter weights and then slowly move towards such heavy ones. We hope he didn't get hurt in the process!
But let us also take a moment and appreciate this guy's efforts. While most of us procrastinate exercising even after paying for a whole year's subscription, the young lad here seems determined and one day might as well top a bodybuilding championship!
Gym Hack..? No Way!
Hats off to this man's dedication towards his fitness regime! But isn't using your child as extra weights is a little mean, or perhaps he wants to teach the baby about working out and self-care from a young age?! Either way, we think the cute infant would feel better in a bassinet than hanging around his father's sweaty chest!
It might seem like a cool idea for some father-son bonding time, but please do not try performing this with your young ones at home or even at the gym! Try adding more iron bars instead!
Please Don't Hurt Yourself!
This lady might make it look effortless, but all those who have ever been to a gym would know deadlifts are not easy! And to raise the bar high, this pretty woman is doing it in heels, and look at how happy she looks as if it is like a child's play to her!
We are not sure if weightlifting in stilettos has any health benefits but adding some style to otherwise dull gym outfits wouldn't hurt anyone, we suppose! Anyway, before trying this yourself, it would be better to consult a professional. After all, prevention is often better than cure!
He Needed Extra Support
Most people hate their trainers as they make them wake up early in the morning, do exhausting exercises, and avoid yummy junk foods. Unlike this guy here who seems to be loving coming to the gym a little too much! Well, not everyone gets such personal attention from their coaches every day!
Maybe the man wanted to add extra weight on his laps, and we understand balancing iron rings can be exceptionally uncomfortable on thighs, but this view isn't pleasing either! Anyway, it looks like both were having a good time, so who are we to judge?
New Gym Wear?
It is okay to wear casuals to the gym, but we are quite positive, going only in a towel won't be considered the appropriate outfit. God only knows what this guy had in mind while walking in a workout place like this and making a total fool of himself!

Not A Morning Person
Not just for night owl Millenials, waking up early morning, especially for a workout session, can feel like a burdensome task to anyone! The woman in the frame also belonged to this category, or maybe she was doing one of the most loved Yoga routines where you just have to lay on the ground and stay still for a couple of minutes, giving your body the rest that it needs.
But we think she was taking advantage of this exercise and fell asleep right there! Clever girl! Perhaps a hot cup of coffee would help her kickstart the day!
The Muscle Man - Quite Literally!
Have you seen a better coincidence than this one? We are convinced not! This is a picture from 2005; the iconic movie Fantastic Four was not even released by then, yet here we have a doppelganger of the Thing! No one knows if the producers saw the above image somewhere, and it helped them create the character, or it's just an incidental occurrence!
Everything aside, we are pretty worried about the giant man here. Bulging of a couple of veins is normal during workouts, but not the entire track of blood vessels! Look at his skull!
Perfect Jumpsuit for Cat Lovers
While there is nothing wrong with being obsessed with your pet cats, and that is one cute imprint on that jumpsuit, but won't you agree that this is an unusual idea to profess affection for your furry friend! We understand if you're as surprised as this lady here who sneakily took a picture of this
hilarious outfit.
It'll certainly be challenging focusing on training if the instructor walks around wearing an attire like this to a professional place. Nevertheless, some good laughter is always beneficial for our body, so we'll give him a pass for this funny mishap!
What Instant Regrets Look Like
It seems like the woman had prepared well to jump like a pro gymnast, but when she went on to record her perfect move, everything went south. She landed safely on the ground, but none of her friends picked her up before having a good laugh at this funny picture. The lady instantly regretted handing the camera to her folks!
On the brighter side, the young girl here can look at her mistake carefully and polish her craft so that it doesn't happen ever again. We wish the best for her and hope she fulfills all her dreams one day!
It Was Her First Day!
Ready in her colorful gym wear, charged up in those comfy shoes, the woman was pretty excited about her first day at the gym. But soon, she found out that her instructor was away for a vacation, so she decided to take matters into her hands! Clearly, it wasn't the best idea!
The woman had no clue about what the machinery does or how to use it appropriately. In all fairness, these pieces of equipment do seem a little tricky! Let's just hope some fellow attendees helped her, and she did not injure herself!
Disturbing Element
If you have ever been to a gym, you would know there's always this one person who has forgotten their earphones at home and now disrupts the entire gym's atmosphere! This man was no exception either!
It seems like he was pushed to the gym by a dear one, who must have been concerned about his health. Not leaving his gaming addiction, this gentleman thought of multitasking and brought his DVDs to the workout station. He thought he could hide the screen from his trainer under that towel, but alas, the poor man forgot his earphones at home!
Beauty With Brain And Brawn
Besides, gone are those days when people would only dress in activewear to gyms. Young boys and girls these days love experimenting with their looks. Who doesn't love to dress, anyway!
While might you think this lady was also setting trends by working out in her beautiful sundress and shining heels, but she had just stopped by to pick up one of her friends when she found herself challenged by fellow men for a quick weightlifting competition. By that smile on her dolled-up face, it looks like the lady either made a fool of herself or beat them all to dust!
Doggie See, Doggie Do
You can teach your dog numerous tricks, but dogs are natural at doing what they see you do. This adorable French bulldog is at the gym with its owner and figured it could get some stretch into its doggie routine. They match so well in the photo, from facial expression to pose. Call it the downward-facing french bulldog because little Frenchie nailed it!
The owner of the yoga pup must never feel lonely or bored with this furry by his side. They must have practiced lots of poses together, and we can't wait to see how they sync in the tree pose.
Head to Toe Workout
It’s essential to take care of your whole body, and that includes your mind. However, we are not sure that this gymgoer fully understands what exercising your mind entails. This man has perhaps taken it a little too literally! Maybe a sudoku puzzle would be less taxing.
This fitness enthusiast is a believer in exercising his body from top to toe, and we admire him for his thoroughness. We’re not sure there will be a machine for this appearing in gyms anytime soon, though; in the meantime, a resistance band will have to do!
Just Need A Break
The challenge that comes with deciding to work and pull through effectively is almost relatable to everyone. As it's part of a healthy routine to take breaks for a few seconds to rest before moving on to the next set of workouts, this lady looks like she just couldn't get herself to end the break and continue with her ab workout.
She was probably reviewing her New Year resolutions to see if she could replace them with something she could actually do. We hope she figures it out because scrolling through your phone when you're supposed to work out isn't burning any calories.
Practice Makes Perfect
It's never too early to chase your dreams, and this little guy's parents are giving him all the exposure he needs. While it's unsafe to leave a child unattended in a gym with all the dangerous equipment there is, this kid sure looks the part in this adorable photo.
He's definitely going to look back at this photo and crack himself up because that expression on his face is priceless. It would be even better if he turns out a weight lifter in the future. We'd love a side by side to compare the progress and see if this young man still has that look when lifting barbells.
Hard Work Pays Off
There's known importance attached to finding what works best for you in building an exercise regimen. For some, it's going slow and steady with endurance training; for others, it's high-intensity interval training, where you go hard and fast at it.
For this guy, he went totally out of the box with this brilliant reward system for his workouts. Having that kind of incentive to keep going would totally work for most of us. However, eating while working out is not as healthy as you could choke on food particles and give yourself heartburn.
Hardcore Advertising
Brand marketers have to develop creative ways to sell their products to as many people as possible. We've seen ads from crazy to weird, but having a Krispy Kreme stand in the gym is a little overboard if you ask us!
There's no logic behind having the sugary treats right within reach of people working hard to keep fit. We agree it's brilliant thinking because everyone would want a Krispy Kreme, and the retailer would make a big buck at the end of the day. We hope it's a sugar-free alternative they use, so there's no cheating in the clients' fitness journeys.
I’m Lovin' It
We all know Ronald McDonald for his 'Happy Meals' and delicious food. It seems he has eaten quite a bit himself that he needs strenuous gym sessions. Out of all the workout activities, he straight-up hits the weights, and we bet his gym mates are going to be utterly shocked!
It must be pretty challenging going to the gym wearing heavy makeup and that not so comfortable outfit. Well, Mr. Ronald does not want to go out of character. More than anything, we hope he loves it (his gym sessions and not food for once).
Up & Above!
Several people have come across extraordinarily bizarre and awkward situations while gyming. And this has to be one of them! It is difficult to crack down whether the ceiling is that low or the man is gigantically tall! Whatever it may be, it does not seem like a very comfortable workout session.
What deserves our total commendation is the man’s dedication despite his head stuck above. Let us hope the atmosphere up there is clean and not stinky because that would be rather challenging. Looking at this, we would just already give up; kudos to the man for his commitment to getting fit!
A Blend Of All!
This man has taken his gym sessions to another level. He has taken a blend of literally all exercises and what he has created is absolutely praiseworthy. To the extent that he won't shy away from calling his trainer to check what he is up to during his workout!
We see the man pull off the balancing act on two dumbbells while squatting and weightlifting. That is something! He surely deserves some reinforcement after working out with this kind of passion and commitment. Good work, Sir; we have to say we are thoroughly impressed.
Uncomfortable Bending
This has to be the most uncomfortable workout pose for a bench press that, looking at the man, we feel discomfort too! The way he is bending is enough to break his back, and that is something we would certainly not recommend doing in the gym.
A generous ten on ten goes from us to this enthusiast for his fantastic flexibility and elasticity skills. Also, we wonder what the spotter is doing there because he is certainly not making this workout session easy for the bending man! Let us hope he reaches home safely and gets rest to repeat this session the next day.
Quite Adjusting!
This man probably forgot to charge his phone, which is why you see his iPad tucked behind his track pants. We understand how a workout session without music can be dull but putting this giant gadget while gyming may not be the most comfortable.
It just shows how adjusting the man is and is not to mention how dependent he must be on music so that his upper body can get some exercise today. Sir, we hope you do not end up breaking your iPad, or someone does not end up stealing it away because with how focused you look, you may not even notice!
Value Of Time
The man on the treadmill is the perfect example of making fair use of time. We could imagine our grandmothers doing this sitting next to a fireplace, but this man here knits a sweater while losing some weight. Usually, you will see a man this age with earphones listening to music, but this is a sight never witnessed!
We wonder how he is paying attention to both the sweater and his steps on the treadmill. This has to be another level of concentration! Who is going to try this out? We are definitely considering it!
Ouch!
How many of you felt the pain while looking at this woman being hit by the resistance band? Our hands are up in the air because we definitely did! There are several benefits of resistance bands, like how apt they are for body toning and, of course, cheaper than any gym subscription.
We do not talk about how hurtful it can get if and when the band breaks, just like with this lady. Ouch is all that we have to say! Let us hope she does not give up on her workout sessions after this injury.
Let The Professionals Do It!
We all get inspired by various professionals and Olympic medal winners and try our hand at that skill but let’s not forget we do not have the proper training for it and should definitely not try it! What this man is testing is called snatch, which is usually an elegant and crisp movement.
While his goal here is to get the bar above the head in just a single stroke, he gets it utterly wrong, and his head dribbles like a basketball instead. We cannot even imagine how painful that must be!
No Play And Only Work!
Either this man is a proper workaholic or just laid back that he missed his deadlines and finds time to finish it off while working out. The only thing we admire is the dedication with which he is sitting and working; we doubt he even gets this kind of concentration back home!
We feel there should be a strict no laptop policy at gyms so that there is a clear demarcation between work and health! Let this man be the first and last exception but never again! What do you have to say?
Overcautious!
It is not very often that you will find a man dressed in glasses and helmets on a stationary cycle as if he were going out for a bike ride outside. But guess what we have found for you! Certainly, a sight probably never seen before.
Maybe the man here loves cycling a bit too much or is being extra cautious and preventing a fall (we really wonder how, though). Looking at him, we can at least say he is having a good time. No better way to be indoors but get a complete feel of the outdoors!
Many Plates Full!
Now that is some gym genius working out like a pro! The man here is pressing a couple of plates, but the way he is going about it looks like he deals with something as light as feathers. Sir, we hope you are not in search of more plates because you seem pretty full!
Please, do not try this without professional help because it might end up in something you would definitely not want! Also, we wonder if this gym is only home to champions involved in rigorous workout sessions because for beginners like us, this might not be the perfect place to start.
The chair is Her Throne!
Madam here does not seem too fond of treadmill running. Well, we don’t blame her; it is not the most straightforward job. But what is rather odd is that she places a chair on the treadmill as if that will help in any way.
We see not the treadmill, but the chair is definitely her throne. But to lose the pounds, you have to dethrone yourself, dear! It is not something we see very often at gyms, but for us, this photograph takes the cake away (cake in a gym context, haha).
